ADDITIONAL INFO

Tumble Time Competitive Team was excited but the challenges that COVID-19 has presented us this past year and decided to step out and try something new. We have made the switch from USA Gymnastics to NGA (National Gymnastics Association). Trying something new can be scary but this decision has been one of the best choices for our team to date. Our gymnasts were able to compete virtually and later in person. Joining NGA has given our gym the flexibility to work with our gymnasts to create confidence and show off their person best. We can’t wait to see what our gymnasts will do this season and years to come.

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics includes 4 events (Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam & Floor Exercise). Levels 1 through 5 perform compulsory routines, and levels 6 through 10 perform optional routines. Entry level to competitions can begin at level 2 with a minimum age of 5 yrs. Men’s Gymnastics includes 6 events (Vault, High Bar, Rings, Parallel Bars, Floor Exercise and Pommel Horse [Mushroom]). Levels 1 through 5 perform compulsory routines, and levels 6 through 10 perform optional routines. Entry level to competitions can begin at level 1 with a minimum age of 5 yrs.

We understand there needs to be a balance between gymnastics, school and other social activities; thus all gymnasts are like family and practices are 2-3 evenings per week, for a total of 5.5 hours to 10 hours.
