Meet Our New Owners!

Haylee Brown

My name is Haylee Brown and I have been in the Gymnastics industry in some form since I was 3 years old. I have been a fan, competitor, coach, coordinator, director, manager, gym mom, and now an owner.

I grew up in Utah with 3 sisters.  All of us were in gymnastics, and all of us took it very seriously.  Sometimes even cleaning the gym as a family to make it so we could keep up with the price of lessons.  I advanced quickly through the levels, started competing at 5, tested in TOPS JR Nationals at 9, and was in the highest level before Elite by the time I was 10.  I love this sport to my core.  At 15 years old I was coaching at the gymnastics center where I trained, as well as travelling around the country coaching at gymnastics camps.

At 18 years old, I started coaching at Utah State University.  I had enrolled there to start my College Education, and had been a fan of their collegiate program my whole life.  After 6 months there, the Head Coach of the Collegiate team was very impressed by my hard work, loyalty, and willingness to learn.  So he put me in charge of the developmental program that trained at the University, and made me an undergraduate coach to the college team. After 4 years at Utah State I graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, and Psychology.

Once I graduated, I coached in gyms throughout California, as well as Texas before I found myself relocating to the Sacramento Foothills. I finally landed at Tumble Time, and it was a perfect fit!  The philosophy of how they treated the kids and families at their gym aligned perfectly with what I wanted for my children.  After having worked at big gyms, small gyms, in between gyms….I just wanted to be at a gymnastics center that put the families and athletes first, and really valued what gymnastics taught children.   Tumble Time was the place.  I have absolutely loved working there.  It is a gym that truly serves the community.  The kids I have coached are amazing athletes and humans.  The team has grown from the 7 girls I started with to over 50.  A  few years ago I added Gym Manager onto my role of Team Director in preparation of taking over Tumble Time when the time came.  I have learned all about staffing, training, the office work, the intricacies of the Recreational Classes, the programs you add on to help make the gym more money during down time, and most importantly, how to serve your community so that you have loyal customers.  These customers not only want to keep coming back, but they are spreading the word on what a great facility we have in our small town.  I am so excited to take the reins fully and grow this whole program to a whole new level!  As our community grows, I want to be able to grow with it!

Jenni Peters

Jenni’s passion for gymnastics began at the age of 4. From the moment she tried it, she fell in love with the sport. As a young gymnast Jenni participated in competitive gymnastics until an injury led to a recommended decrease in activity level. Following the end of her competitive career she continued with recreational gymnastics and moved in to cheerleading. In high school she was offered a position as a gymnastics coach with Tumble Time Gymnastics and began teaching preschool and elementary age students. Jenni continued coaching while in college but left to finish school and start a family. Once her children were old enough to start gymnastics, she returned to Tumble Time and filled in as a substitute instructor. Several years later as her daughters love of the sport grew, she started coaching on a regular basis and became a member of the competitive coaching staff as well. Tumble Time has been a part Jenni’s family for over 20 years now. Jenni has worked many years in Early Childhood Education teaching Pre-Kindergarten at pre-schools, coaching gymnastics and volunteering with youth programs in the community. Jenni holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development with Honors from the College of Education at California State University, Sacramento. While attending CSUS she participated in collegiate athletics as part of the All-Girl Cheerleading Team. In addition, she holds both an Associates of Arts in General Education degree from Folsom Lake College and Associates of Sciences degree in Veterinary Technology from Carrington College California. Jenni is also very active in her community with her family, husband Andrew, and two young children, Joey (13) and Lauren (11).

We have been Tumble Time customers for over 8 years and have always been very happy with all components with the business. The facility is very CLEAN. Their birthday party selection accommodates all ages and the staff works with the birthday child to make sure they have the happiest of birthdays. Their instructors are knowledgeable and skilled. They are able to demonstrate each maneuver so that the student learns proper technique that forms a solid foundation for the next skill level. Each component is broken down and specific, positive coaching helps each child improve at their own pace. No "devices" are used, so injuries rarely happen. Classes are sized and structured so that each student receives individual attention as well as the opportunity to practice newly learned skills.

Both my children have become beautiful gymnasts and love TumbleTime - and so do I!!
